The village was damaged during the Tsunami in 2004, although the waters only reached the base of the rig (surprising given its proximity to the beach). The Chief of Circus (as of Spring 2007) is Adam, the trainer for all the villages in the Asia Zone. As such, the shows are of particularly high quality and the village often hosts training programmes for Asia-Zone GOs. Photos:
